Honoring a Beloved Aggie Legend
Brian Tripsa

Ernest Hemingway wrote,
'Every man has two deaths: the first when he is buried, and the second when his name is spoken for the last time.'

Our mission is to honor Brian's memory by creating a lasting legacy that supports educational pursuits and ensures his name is never forgotten. Though his time earthside was shortened, the impact he made will echo through the lives he touched, forever keeping his spirit alive."
Brian Tripsa - Texas A&M Memorial Scholarship
We are honoring the memory of Brian Tripsa by establishing a lifetime Texas A&M University scholarship endowment for students pursuing careers in Finance. By establishing a one-time endowment of $25,000, a portion of the fund's earnings will be distributed annually, while the remainder will be reinvested to ensure the fund's long-term growth and impact. Brian wasn’t just an Aggie; he was the loudest and proudest, embodying the spirit of Texas A&M in everything he did. Brian's time pursuing a degree in Business Honors Finance, coupled with his active involvement in organizations like Delta Tau Delta and Aggies on Wall Street, profoundly shaped his journey and propelled him toward achieving his dream job at Houlihan Lokey in Houston, TX.

One aspect many people may not have known about Brian was his quiet generosity. Despite being a young professional saving for his first home with his girlfriend, he regularly gave away new pairs of underwear to those in need near his Houston apartment. This unexpected act of kindness earned him the nickname "The Underwear Bandit," which inspired the name of this fundraiser.

Brian lived life to the fullest and loved deeply, and we know he would be thrilled that his friends and family have come together to help others pursue the same dreams he once did. While we can never fully measure the incredible accomplishments Brian would have achieved, this endowment allows us to support hundreds of students in reaching their own goals. As part of this fundraiser, the Tripsa family will donate 12 pairs of underwear for every $1000 raised for the endowment, continuing Brian’s legacy of kindness by providing for those in need.

Here’s to our 12th man. May Brian’s memory shine brightly in our lives and in the lives of the students this fund will help.
